Soror C. Vivian Stringer is now on twitter

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers head coach C. Vivian Stringer has joined the social networking and message service Twitter.

Fans can get up-to-the-minute updates on Scarlet Knights basketball by following Stringer’s page on Twitter, receiving instant updates or “tweets” from the Hall of Fame coach.

Twitter is a free service that lets users keep in touch with people through the exchange of quick, frequent answers to one simple question: What are you doing? An account is not needed to read the updates, but individuals who create their own profiles can receive instantaneous updates on their computers or cell phones using a variety of applications. “Tweets” are text-based posts of up to 140 characters in length which are displayed on the user’s profile page and delivered to other uses who have subscribed to them.

Stringer’s official page is www.twitter.com/cvivianstringer.
